Hi! I’m Ulysses, my friends call me Uly. I’m a curious, energetic boy who loves to play hard and rest hard! I love wrestling with my foster sister, playing tug, squeezy toys, and then konking out in mere seconds to recharge my adorable puppy batteries.

I am working on housetraining-I’m still little and learning, so I do have some accidents. I’m working on crate training the best is when I get to go into my kennel with a treat, and chill side by side with my foster sisters, so I feel like I’m part of the pack!

I am great with my canine foster sisters (who can be kinda grumpy old ladies, if you ask me), and am learning so much about how to play, respect boundaries, and manage my little chompers. I haven’t met any cats or kids yet, but I’m sure that with a little time and supervision, I’ll learn how to charm them too!

I love exploring- I am great at finding adventure, even in the backyard! I’m still learning what is ‘people approved’ adventuring and not, so I can’t wait for you to teach me more!

I’ve spent a little bit of time on this dangly thing called a leash-I don’t really know what the point of it is yet, as I haven’t been able to go on walks before my vaccines- but I bet once we can get out there and I see that a leash equals exploring, I’ll start understanding real quick!

You will notice from my picture, I am quite the handsome devil who would love to make your heart flutter. With one look from my patented puppy dog eyes, you will melt!

I can’t wait to come home with you and start settling into my forever family! It’ll be AWESOME!

NOTE: For the next couple months it is important that I am only in contact with fully vaccinated dogs because I came into the care of Manitoba Mutts with parvovirus. I am fully recovered and there are no long-term health issues related to parvovirus, though it can continue to be shed in my poop for the next couple months. Please ask the MMDR Adoption Team and my foster family if you want more information about this.
