Hi! I’m Roja!

I’m a sweet affectionate girl who loves nothing better than to hang out with my people close by me. I am friendly and love all people but I attach myself to one particular person in the home, here it is my foster mom; I like to have her within my sight. My foster parents are home all the time and I sometimes do not like it too much when they leave me for short time periods of time so I am enclosed in the porch at these times but usually just sleep in my kennel or play with my toys and am so happy when they get home. 

I love to play with my foster canine brother, my toys, especially the squeaky ones, and shoes when I can find them or whatever else I can find  –  just look on my dog bed where I like to hoard everything.

I love to be outside as long as my people are out there with me. I am a bit nervous with new things and unfamiliar sounds so will bark at them before I slowly approach cautiously.

I am not fully house trained yet but just about there. I will give you the “look”(I’m easy to read) to let you know when I have to go but will want your company out there with me. I have paper in the porch to use if my people are going to be away for a long periods of time.

I am  fully crate trained at night and after you let me out in the morning, I love to snuggle up beside you to finish my sleep after my breakfast. I’m very much a couch potato who loves to have my long afternoon naps there or cuddled up beside you on those movie nights.

I love my walks with my canine brother beside me and love to go swimming with him at the beach. I still need some practice on a leash though but I’m a pretty smart girl and willing to learn. I have learned my commands I know super quick and very food motivated with some yummy treats. I can get a bit nippy when I’m in play mode but getting better with toy diversion. 

Who is looking for a snuggly lovable playful little girl like me?

I would be perfect for someone who is always home or a work from home family and a confident canine sibling for company which would make my transition into your home much easier for me. I’m not sure how I would react with a cat as I have never met one. 

Note: I am currently out in Gimli so hope you don’t mind the distance as I am well worth the drive out!
