Hi! I’m Danforth from the Toronto Street litter, and I was born in the roof of a house on Toronto Street! My siblings and I were rescued by Feral Friends Sanctuary, and my brother Bloor and I taken in by Manitoba Mutts, where we’ve spent the last two weeks in a foster home that also just happens to be on Toronto Street. Small world!
I’ve since learned that I much prefer living inside a house to living on top of one. I was a little skittish around people at first, but it didn’t take long for me to come out of my shell. Now I love to be petted and to snuggle up on the couch next to my foster family or crawl onto their laps. I’m getting more and more comfortable all the time with being picked up and carried, and soon my feral beginnings will be just a distant memory.
I’ve got boundless kitten-energy and I enjoy playing with toys, climbing on cat trees, exploring with my brother, and chasing the big cats in my foster home. My bro and I are pretty inseparable so I think I’d do best in a foster home with another kitty, or maybe even a kitty-friendly dog. (I have yet to meet a dog but they sound fun!)
I’m a good eater and I’m fully litter-trained. My fur is super-soft and my purr is extra-loud. I have a sweet, gentle disposition and a goofy little moustache, and I’m pretty much guaranteed to steal your heart the second you meet me. So what are you waiting for? Why not make me a part of your family?
