Hi, I’m Birdie, a sweet and energetic little girl who adores being part of a family! 

I love to go for walks and my favorite thing is to help hold the leash for my foster dog-sister as we’re strutting our stuff down the street.  I also like to snag the weed-service lawn signs from peoples yards or pick up recycling along our walks, I’m such a good helper! 

I’m very good with the two cats and two dogs that I currently live with, and they’re pretty patient with my puppy exuberance too.  I have lots of energy and can’t wait to go for hikes or runs with you in the park, but am also an expert-level cuddler and love to snuggle up with my foster momma after a busy day. 

I do have one special little detail that you should know about.  As a puppy, I was attacked by another dog which hurt my eye and so I can’t see out of one side.  It doesn’t hold me back at all, I don’t need to drive or read the newspaper, I don’t even know it happened!  My future family will need to keep an eye on it (ha ha ha!) but I don’t need anything special for it at this time.  I can run and jump and play, and even catch bugs out of thin air!

I am so good in my kennel, I love to sleep when it’s bedtime and am a rockstar when it comes to eating my snacks.  My mom says I’m a “Pretty Birdie” and that someone is going to fall in love with me so fast!  Will that be you?!
