Hi there! My name is MJ. Don’t be fooled by my small stature! I may only weigh 6lbs but I’m no kitten! I’m actually a 9 year old lady. My playful days are in the far distant past, and now all I’m looking for is a forever home with at least one human who has a lap for me to curl up in. I can’t get enough cuddles. I haven’t met any other animals or any kids in my foster home, but I’m a very gentle and easygoing gal so I think I’d do fine with nice slow introductions. I use my litter box like a pro as well!

Fun fact- I have one of the best grumpy faces you’ve ever seen. Combine this with a voice that sounds like an old door creaking open, and I can create the illusion of one bad-tempered kitty! But I promise I’m the sweetest little lady you’ll ever meet. You can stuff me in the cat carrier to go to the vet, force feed me medications, even stick a cone over my head and I won’t do a thing about it. Unfortunately, all of these things have been tested several times. Check out my Super Trooper post for more details (see link below). In the several weeks I’ve stayed at my foster home, despite being in significant pain and discomfort, I have not uttered a single hiss or even raised my hackles. I even had to wear a tiny sweater for an entire day when I flew on a plane and didn’t make any fuss while foster mom (whom I had JUST met!) wrestled it off me.
