Hi, I’m Rivers!  

I’m a sweet, playful, and sassy girl who loves to cuddle, steal socks and play fetch. 

I am working on housetraining and when I remember, I ask to go out. I am working on being crate trained. So far I’ve stayed in my crate for a few hours during the day and sleep in my crate at night. I settle down quickly and usually sleep through the night. I don’t have all my shots yet so I haven’t met many dogs and haven’t had the chance to meet any kids yet. I can be mouthy and don’t always take treats gently, I might do best with slightly older kids. 

I think I’m as big as my foster brother and could be described as a playful little instigator who likes to be vocal while playing. I’ve met one dog other than my foster brother and was wary of them. With a slow introduction I’d love to have a furry brother or sister to play with! I am not a fan of the vacuum, I run away really fast! I love to play outside and am good with baths and nail trims. I haven’t been able to go for walks on the leash yet. So far I’ve learned to sit, laydown and spin. I don’t always want to listen and will tell you so with little barks. I am just a puppy! With calmness and patience I will listen. I know the word “okay” as my release word. I sit before I go in and outside. When it’s time to eat I sit and wait to hear “okay!” before I eat my food. I know what no means and am working on “leave it”. 

I am a sweetheart with so much love to give. I would love to snuggle up beside you, be your little shadow and make you laugh. Is there room for me in your family?
