ADOPTION PENDING – NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
Hi. I’m Trixy, or Trixy-Lou as my Foster Mom likes to call me.

I’m a very sweet girl who loves people and belly rubs. I have lots of energy so I really enjoy playtime inside and outside. Don’t get me wrong though, I also love my naps and cuddling up next to you to watch a show.

I am fully housetrained and can even let you know when I have to go outside. I’m also crate trained and will go in there on my own at bedtime and not make a sound until my Foster Mom wakes up in the morning. You might have to convince me with a treat to go in there during the day if you need to run an errand. I will cry a little when you leave but eventually I’ll settle down and wait for you to come home.

I am good with dogs of all sizes and ages, all I want to do is play with them. My senior dog friends do get a bit tired of me after a while though. I have not met any cats yet but my Foster Mom thinks I would do fine with them.

I have not met any kids yet either but when I see them on the street all I want to do is go meet and play. I do still play a little rough and with my teeth, so I would do best with kids that are older than 12 and may help teach me some manners.

I love going for walks but I’ve only been going on them for about a week now so I’m still getting used to it and think the leash is a toy sometimes.. Since I’m still young, I will require some training but my Foster Mom says I’m very smart and will learn quickly.

One thing you should know is that I did have a fracture in my back left leg but it is all healed up now and I’m doing great! The vet said there is a possibility that I may have some arthritis in this leg when I’m older, but not for sure.

I’m such a friendly girl looking to share my love with you. Do you need an adventure buddy? Or someone to keep your feet warm while you work from home? I’m your girl, I’ll even shake a paw on it!
