Hi! I’m Dory -the gorgeous momma of the Finding Dory. Everyone says I’m so precious!

The first night I spent with my new foster moms, I gave birth to 10 healthy beautiful pups. I’m starting to fill out my own personality as I was a bit tired from 10 little ones and a little bout of mastitis once they weaned. But I’m all better now! 

I’m a somewhat typical husky who is still learning to use my voice and boy do I love my cuddles. My foster moms call me needy, but when I slap on those puppy dog eyes its really hard to say no. I’m a bit timid at first with new people and situations, as there was a little history of abuse, but my foster moms have been working really hard with me and exposing me to new things and I’m starting to heal and trust again. 

I am not kennel trained as I’ve been very trustworthy at night and for brief periods of time when I’ve been left alone in the house. I have had a history of chewing window sills out of boredom, but since being in my new foster home I haven’t shown any of that behavior with proper attention and exercise.

I am also fully house trained.My leash training is really good, and I love my walks. Once my collar comes out I do my spins of excitement! Walks are the best part of my day and I like them long and I don’t pull at all! My recall is really great. I’ve slipped through an open crack once or twice but I’ve always come back when called. 

I am always interested in meeting other dogs, and so far have had great fun with the ones I’ve met. I would do really well to have a sibling or two to play with and exert my energy. 

Cats really interest me, sometimes I chase them but honestly I really just want to play with them. I will leave them alone when told though. I also love staring at and chasing squirrels when given the opportunity. I’m great with kids as well.

While I’ve had a bit of a rough past, my future is looking bright. If you’re looking for a smart, needy, cuddle bug who will follow you anywhere (I love car rides!), look no further. Wanna bring me home so we can get to know each other and snuggle??

Note: My foster moms put me as YELLOW (requires experienced owner) because of my past and my high energy level. I will need a firm, yet gentle hand who knows how to respond to my triggers, as well as give me plenty of exercise and playtime!
