Hi I’m Iguazu, but you can call me Iggy. I am part of the Waterfall litter. I know you’re mesmerized by my striking blue eyes, but I’m a puppy with a bit of baggage. When I was 6 weeks old I had an accident that broke my jaw. I had to wear a muzzle for 6 weeks and all could eat was mush. That’s a thing of the past since my jaw has healed and now all I want to do is put everything in my mouth. I had surgery on Sept 20 to remove a broken canine baby tooth (a result from the accident) and an adult molar. The Doggy Dentist says there may be other complications as I grow, so you will need to be prepared for potential surgeries down the road. Don’t fret, Manitoba Mutts will cover the dental treatments and specialist appointments I may need as my adult teeth come in.

I have A LOT of energy, if you’re looking for a couch potato, keep scrolling. I love other dogs and would do best with a canine playmate in my new home. I’ve met some kids and I can be a bit shy at first but once I’m comfortable, watch out! I live with cats and have a tendency to chase them, not because I want to eat them, I just think everyone should play with me. I am working on my house training and I am kennel trained, I sleep quietly all night in one and when my foster parents go out. I haven’t been on any walks since I don’t have all my vaccines, but I have been practicing being on a leash in the backyard.

I need a very special adoptive home that will be able to take me to my monthly check-ups at Dakota Veterinary Hospital, help me through any surgeries I may need, and give me all the love I deserve.

My foster mama has been documenting my journey so far, will you be the one to help me continue the #adventureswithiggythemutt?

I am a Super Trooper with Manitoba Mutts. Here is a link to find out more: https://www.facebook.com/manitobamuttsdogrescue/photos/a.1547771171966880/3258482004229113/?type=3&theater
