Hi, I’m DJ. I am a sweet, lovable girl who takes her time getting to know you but then, just wants to be with you and show and receive love. 

I want to be with you but I don’t need to be too active. I am content just being around! I love it outside, especially if you are there. I am very good on the leash and enjoy my walks each day where a slow pace is ok. I’m good when we meet other dogs. I haven’t really learned how to play much but I bet I will learn. I have shown little attempts but then I just don’t know what to do! 

I am fully house trained and like to sleep on the floor. I don’t use a crate. I can jump so a higher fence in the yard would be good. If I do get out, I don’t leave – just want to lay at the front door! I am very good in the car and enjoyed going to the cottage for a few days! I’m listed as large as i’m just over 50 lbs, but not by much!

I haven’t met any cats yet but I like meetings other dogs but I do not want to live with a dog. 

I’m still really scared of people so they just have to be cool and let me warm up to them. I would love to be that somebody special to a person who is living alone as I am such good company. A quiet and relaxed home is best for me. No kids under 12 years old please! I wouldn’t mind if there were 2 people to love me though! If there were more than that, I would be too nervous. I sure would like to be settled in my furever home where I can feel secure and give all this love to my new parent!
