Hello humans! I’m Spencer and I’m looking for my dream home – and my dream human.

Before Manitoba Mutts took me on, I had never had a home of my own. I came into rescue a disheveled, stinky, skinny little street urchin. And look at me now! I’m fit for a black-tie gala!

I’ve been living indoors for about three weeks now, and it’s a-mazing. There are beds to lounge on, toys to attack, stairs to race up and down, and best of all… humans.

Oh, how I love humans! I love to hop on their laps, flop down beside them on the couch, and follow them around the house chittering like a velociraptor.

In my current foster home, the humans are always around. Seriously, they NEVER leave. I guess it’s probably because I’m here at the moment, and I’m kind of the perfect cat.

For one, I’m extremely cute. That almost goes without saying. Two, I get along great with other animals. There are two bigger cats in my foster home who are as lazy as the day is long, but I can always persuade them to wrestle, play, or cuddle. I’ve hung out with dogs before too with no issues.

Finally, I am one seriously good-natured little chap. If there’s a human around to hear it, you can bet I’ll be purring. You’re making dinner and basically ignoring me? I’m purring! You’re cleaning the litterbox? Purr-worthy! Clipping my nails? Purr-tastic! Picking me up from the vet after neuter surgery? Purr-fect! I’m just happy to be with you.
