Hi! My name is Grammy, beautiful mama of the Awards Litter. I was an awesome mama to my 12 babies and it is now time for me to move on and find myself a loving family to call my own!

I am a very gentle girl who fit into my foster family home instantly. I’m an affectionate girl who loves to give kisses, especially when I think it’s treat time. I’m very laid back and just like to hang out with people on my dog bed or nearby on the floor; no couch or bed sleeping for this girl even though my foster bros do. I love to spend a lot of time outside and napping on the deck as I was an outside dog most of my life! Old habits are hard to break but I am learning and doing very well adjusting to being an indoor dog and learning the rules of the house. 

I am a pretty low energy dog but that could change later as raising a lot of babies can be very tiring. I am not kennel trained but have proven trustworthy to be left loose in the house and I do have the occasional nap in my crate. I am fully house trained; have never had an accident since arriving here. I am food motivated for training purposes and excellent on a leash in the yard; a lot better than my foster bros I’ve been told. Once I get my vaccinations, I know I will love those long walks with you.

I do very well with the two dogs here but they are older and calm like me.  I did well with my foster families hyper grand dog and just let out a short growl to let him know I didn’t want to play and then all was good. The two cats are great too, I just ignore them and they just step over me when they need to as I tend to lay in the doorway. I’m not much of a player with other dogs or with toys but occasionally, I will pick up a toy to carry around or squeak.

With the Coronavirus going on, I haven’t had an opportunity to meet any people. However, before all the social distancing and before I had my babies, I did meet my foster’s family and did very well with them and their two preschool boys so I think I would be OK with children but as always, caution should always be taken with small children around dogs.
