I’m house trained and crate trained. I’m working on leash training, but still need a lot of help with my leash manners because everything in life is so exciting to me!

I’m great with cats and dogs, but need a little guidance when it comes to understanding their signals when they’re trying to communicate with me. I would absolutely love it if you have a young dog who loves to play! I also love people and adore kids, but I’m a little jumpy so would be best with little ones over 8. 

I’m not a fan of watching my humans get ready to go out and will react by whining and barking when I see you leaving. I’ll go in my crate and munch on the treats you leave me, it’s just knowing you’re leaving and watching you leave that breaks my heart . The good thing is, within seconds after you leave I calm down and relax in my crate while you’re out! And, of course, I’m super happy to see you when you get home!

Hi. I’m Jovi! I’m a sweet girl who LOVES snuggles and squeaky toys. 

My foster mom says I’m a good girl – I don’t chew things that aren’t mine, I rarely bark, I am polite on the leash and I’m a BIG fan of sleeping in! 

I am picky on which dogs I’ll interact with. I am a little scared of the hyper dogs but I will happily greet calm dogs. My foster mom says I’ll have fun playing with dogs once I gain a bit more confidence. I am interested in the neighborhood cats but I give them their space. My foster mom thinks I’d be fine living with a cat or a calm dog, but right now I’m loving being the center of attention at home.

I love meeting new people and I’m good with kids. I really enjoy a good play session with my foster mom, especially if it involves a squeaky toy. But I’m also really good at playing solo when she is busy! I am a low-energy dog so I don’t need a huge yard or an intense play time to tire me out. 

I am housetrained and crate trained, but I don’t love the crate. I have some separation and confinement anxiety. I have been taking medication for this anxiety and it is helping a lot. My foster mom and I are working really hard on overcoming my anxieties and she says I’m improving! It is important that I continue to work on these things in my new home. I might do best in a home where a family member is often home or my parents have the flexibility to work from home. Right now, I am okay with being crated for a couple days of the week, but my foster mom hasn’t pushed it to a full work week. 

I am considered YELLOW since I’m on medication for separation anxiety but it’s really improving! Foster mom says I need someone to be gentle with me as I am a delicate soul.

My ideal day is to be a couch potato with my humans and maybe go for a couple of short walks in between our cuddle sessions. Does that sound fun to you?

Hi! My name is Magnífico. I am neutered and house trained. I love to play with my toys, my people and my dog siblings. I am learning not to pull on the leash and not be reactive to other dogs on my walks. I love to meet new people, but I am uncertain about new dogs, so I still react to them. I am rambunctious and active, so I will do best in a home where I have playmates to keep me busy. Also, keep in mind I am very used to my foster family by now and may need extra time to adapt to a new home and new family. 

I am very smart and loyal, and I learn fast. My foster parents continue to teach me to play with toys, not hands, and not to jump when I am excited. I like to engage in play with my mouth and I jump on people when excited. I would do really well on activities that require mind and body exercise, like agility! I love to run!

I am very vocal and I am still learning recall – did I say I am smart? Yes, I will consider whether to come to you when you call; depends on what is happening and if there is something in it for me! Apartment style living is not well suited for me. 

I don’t sleep in a crate as I am so happy sleeping either on or under my people’s bed, but the couch, a mat, or a dog bed also do just as well for me. 

I like to play fetch, soccer, and chew my squeaky toys. And I have been known for digging a little around the yard…  I’m learning how good it is to cuddle with my people and I will ask for love and affection and give it back in so many kisses! I am okay on short car rides, but during longer trips I throw up, as I don’t know how to properly ride in a car yet and get very nauseated. 

I am a handsome, smart and active boy who would love to find my fur-ever home. Would you like to meet me?

I’m a shy and gentle boy who loves quiet spaces, soft beds, and the company of patient humans. When I’m bored, I can be independent and play by myself and keep myself busy with toys! 

I have been through a lot, but that hasn’t stopped me from blossoming into a loving pup. Once I get to know you, I really like to receive pets and will follow you around for more. 

I have figured out this whole housetraining business, but I just need to work on being more obvious with how I ask to go outside. I’m not an apartment dog so I’m best suited to a home with a fence where I can stretch my legs. I am fully crate trained and can hold it throughout the night. My crate is my safe space when I am feeling overwhelmed. I do miss my foster family when they leave, so I do have a bit of separation anxiety. I am working on being alone in my kennel.

I live with my foster sister Nia, and we play great together. She is teaching me and let’s me know if I am being too pushy or when it’s time to stop playing. I might look like an adult in size, but I’m really still a pup. I don’t like overly energetic or pushy dogs because they can be overwhelming for me.

I’m working on leash training, but not a fan yet. I’m slowly going on short walks, but I’m not used to the loud noises, so I am fearful of the busy streets. I am working on my issues with cars because they are scary big machines. I am more suited to a quiet home with older children (little ones are noisy) and a family that doesn’t really travel very much. 

I’m a sweet, loyal, loving companion and I’m a really great listener. Do you have room for me in your home?

I am fully housetrained and I LOVE my crate – I go in it for naps on my own and when my foster mom isn’t home. I also really like to spend time training and learning new things, I would benefit from an experienced dog owner. I have some anxiety and fear of strangers that I am currently taking medication for, therefore apartment style living is not ideal for me.

I live with a cat, and wouldn’t mind living with one who is dog savvy. I have a bit too much energy around kids and I still need a lot of supervision. Kids older than 12 would be best.

I love playing with other dogs but I don’t know when to stop playing so if there is another dog in your home, they will need to tell me when to stop. I do a lot better at building a routine when there are no other dogs living with me but I do great with dogs on play dates. So, it’s best I don’t live with a dog full time. Sometimes I need reminders to be gentle and polite as I’m still learning.

I used to be nervous on walks but I am doing so much better! I don’t pull on my leash, but sometimes when I see other dogs, I bark because out of excitement – treats are a great way to redirect me.

I also loooove all water, sprinklers, hoses, showers and will most definitely try to jump in the bath every time it is on!

I am a very active puppy who would love to find a forever family where I can share energy, loyalty and tail wags!

NOTE: I am on a special GI vet food and tolerate it very well. I have some anxiety so I am taking fluoxetine medication and it has helped me so much. It costs about $60 a month. Please ask our vetting team or my foster parent for more details.

I’m a timid and unsure girl but I am working on my trust issues. I would never harm anyone, I don’t growl, show my teeth or bark. I love my kennel! When you talk to me, I do the cutest little head tilt every time!

I am housetrained mainly with pee pads and I am fully crate trained. I don’t really need my crate because I am a good girl, but I like it a lot. I do sometimes steal socks or slippers, but I never chew them, I just steal them if they are laying around.

I am great with other dogs, good with cats, older children for sure, but have not been tested with little ones, but I don’t like to be picked up because I’m not used to it, and I get scared.

I am very healthy for 7 years old; I’ve had my spaying and dental and came through both like a trooper – no issues at all. I expect to be around for many years yet to come.

I like going for walks but need practice to not be afraid of other people passing me or behind me, and I’m getting really good at going through doors. I don’t mind my leash, except when I want to hide because I’m afraid.

I am beautiful and will be very loving with a little patience. I would love to gain confidence with a playmate and feel what it is to truly be loved and cared for on a permanent basis.

I’m an active girl who loves running around, jumping, playing, and talking! I love playing with my canine foster sister and following my foster mama around everywhere and talking to her.

My mama says I’m very smart, I learned how to sit, shake a paw and lay down very quickly.

I can be shy at first and startled by quick movements, loud noises and new things. It took a bit of time to warm up to my family but now I can’t get enough of them! Kisses and tail wags for days.

I am not quite housetrained but I’m doing really good, I’m trying my very best to ask to go outside! I am working on my crate training, I go in my crate at night with no trouble, but if I’m left all alone I get a little worried and cry a little bit. I’m slowly learning it’s okay and my family will come back home to me.

I am good with ­dogs with the proper introduction and a little bit of time. I need an experienced owner to help me since I can be slightly reactive because I am afraid of them. I love playing with my big canine foster sister but it took me a little while to warm up to her.

I really like cats, I want to play with them all the time, I’m trying to learn how to control myself and leave them be.

I haven’t met any kids yet but I’m sure I’d like them if they played with me. I am too young to go for walks right now. I’m nervous around new environments and all the crazy things out there, so I will need some time and a little patience in order for me to enjoy going out with you. A fenced yard will be a nice secure place for me to grow and feel safe!

You see, I came from a situation where I wasn’t socialized with humans so I have trust issues. I have bonded with my foster mom, it took about a week and a half for me to allow her to touch me willingly. I’m still quite timid around my foster dad and steer clear of him as much as I can, I won’t even eat if he’s in the room. I require a home without children under 5 and pawrents who understand that I will need space and lots of time to get comfortable and that I may never fully trust humans.

I’m great with cats and really adore dogs. I MUST have another dog in my furever home as they help immensely with my confidence. I am about 80% housetrained, I still have accidents. I sleep quietly in a crate at night beside my foster mom’s bed, but I do have separation anxiety if I’m in a kennel when you leave the house, the kennel tends not to be where you left it, but I’m still inside!

I will need a secure fenced yard as I am a potential flight risk when there are loud noises, and would be very difficult to catch if I got free.

My foster mom has attempted to take me on a walk, but I don’t enjoy it, in fact, I barely move, but she’ll keep trying! When I’m outside I need a secure harness or martingale collar so that I can’t slip out of it. So far I am very content to be a house dog relaxing on the couch, or running around with my foster siblings.

I have fun puppy energy, and really enjoy playing tug-o-war, chewing on bones, and throwing around stuffies. I also have been known to steal a shoe or two… 

If you’re ready for a challenge, and have the patience to give me time to get to know you, then I am ready to meet you, sorta… At the very least, I’ll let my foster mama put me in your lap.

I am being fostered in Steinbach, but you know what they say, it’s worth the trip.

I’m fully housetrained, and (reluctantly) well kennel trained.

I LOVE walking, and going out to explore. Ideally your home has a large safe place (or you can take me to one daily) where I can run off leash. A safe place for me is one that doesn’t have new humans, or they know to ignore me when I am uncomfortable. I have really great recall. I’m okay on leash but I get so gosh darn excited when another dog comes that I forget myself. I am really smart though so if you can work with me on leash then I just know I’ll get the hang of it! I should be kenneled when in the car to protect everyone for the same reason.

I am 2 years old and LOVE my human(s). I often make a big to-do when I meet a human for the first time, just to let them know I’m a little nervous, but because not everyone speaks dog, they are sometimes afraid of me. Once I know you, I am quite driven to impress you as I don’t want to disappoint!!

I also LOVE other dogs, and playing with them especially. I am vocal with them too, and sometimes foster mom reminds me to be gentle, at which point I oblige and promptly run to her since there’s a treat in her hand for me. I am gaining confidence still so please don’t leave me unsupervised with other dogs, I may get scared. That said, I’m definitely not scared of my male foster dog brother, he’s a lot of fun and we take turns with the same toy all day long.

My foster mom leaves me in my kennel when she’s away. The kennel is really just to keep my foster cat sister safe. The cat just seems like a squeaky toy to me and I can’t stop thinking about her when I see her. Otherwise the cat is in the basement and I will try to go ‘check’ on her once a day. Foster mom gets the ‘good’ treats out when that happens and when I hear that bag, I come running.

I can entertain myself a lot, and love to get out and run. But really, I just want to be with my humans. If you want a dog that will love you with intensity, I’m your gal! Do you have room in your home and familly for me?

I know for a fact that blondes have more fun! Just look at me. I’m a funny, affectionate smart girl who loves cuddles, kisses, toys, playing and biting your toes.

I am working on being housetrained and get it right a lot of the time, but it is still hard for a little girl like me. I use my X-pen and pads when the family can’t be with me, and I do all right there. I would probably be fine in a nice big wire kennel. I sleep most of the night in my X-pen but usually wake up around 2 am for a pee break, and then I like to snuggle in bed with foster-mama. I’m up and ready for the day around 6 am.

I am very food motivated and am learning fast to sit and come when I am called. I am good with other dogs and want nothing more than to PLAY! I am cat-curious and a little pushy with them, but I know we could warm up to each other just fine. I am very much in my “baby shark” phase and foster mama is working on me not being nippy. I think it would be best to not be with really small kids because I might hurt them with my sharp baby teeth. I wouldn’t want to, but I do get excited.

I’m a recovered “parvo puppy” so I haven’t been out of the yard yet and haven’t worked on leash manners. Here is my Super Trooper link.

I would do best with someone who has had dogs before and understands gentle training and corrections. I am very very sensitive, and my feelings get hurt easily. I am definitely a husky mix, so I like to dig, (just ask foster mama) and I can be stubborn, but I am ever so loyal and will be your very best friend once we get to know each other.

I would love an active home with another young (or playful old) dog and people who can give me lots of time, training, treats, and hugs.

I am a sweet girl who would love to be your new best friend. I just know that I will be the most amazing grown-up dog one day. I would love to find the perfect forever home, will it be with you?
